________________________________ Please find attached the first edition of the ANZALS Magazine, a revamped version of the old Newsletter Apart from news about ANZALS and what members have been doing to promote the further development of research, teaching and scholarship in the study of leisure, you will find in the Magazine a section dedicated to news from various patrons (universities across Australia and New Zealand), information about upcoming conferences, new books, as well as call for papers in the leisure, tourism, sport and event studies fields. Also included are news from other associations within our network, such as the World Leisure Organization, SMAANZ, Leisure Studies Association and CAUTHE, among others. There is also have a feature article by Prof. Karla Henderson discussing the future of feminist leisure studies.
