SPENSER AT KALAMAZOO, 14-17 MAY 2015
50th International Congress on Medieval Studies
Western Michigan University (Kalamazoo, Michigan)

This year we have three open sessions on any topic dealing with
Edmund Spenser. As always, we encourage submissions by newcomers
and by established scholars of all ranks.

Reading time for papers should be no more than twenty minutes.
According to rules established by the Congress, those submitting
abstracts for one session may not submit abstracts for other sessions
in the same year. Because Kalamazoo has traditionally encouraged
experiment, preliminary exploration, and discussion, papers submitted
should not have been read elsewhere nor be scheduled for publication
in the near future.

Email submissions are encouraged. On the abstract, please include your
name and email address. With the abstract, please send us a Participant Information Form (PIF), which you can download from the conference website:
http://www.wmich.edu/medieval/congress/submissions/index.html#PIF
If you need equipment, let us know that too.

Minimum length of abstract: 300 words. Maximum length: 750 words.
Abstracts that outline an argument are usually more successful
than ones that just announce a topic.

Deadlines:
15 September 2014 for abstracts
15 April 2015 for completed papers

Please direct questions and abstracts to:
