Hi Niamh,

As well as the Lords Museum, my cricket-mad colleague suggests that you
invoke the crowd wisdom of the Test Match Special
<http://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/b00fr0n5> audience by contacting the
BBC. It will probably get an airing, especially if it rains - and an
answer. Certainly no bad publicity for your museum if it does!

Michael

Hi Niamh,

The Cricket Museum at Lords might be able to help with this. I paid a
visit there last year to view their Museum and Archive - they have loads
of information regarding different clubs and logos etc.

Here is the number for the Museum: 020 7616 5658, and the number for the
Library: 020 7616 8559. We met their Documentation Officer (Rob) who
seemed quite knowledgeable. Failing that their head of collections can
always help. Her name is Charlotte, I'm afraid I don't remember her last
name.

Hope this helps

Hi,

I have recently had a local cricket cap donated to us. While talking to
the donor she said her father always wore a cricket top with the symbol
of a skeleton holding a cricket bat on it and she often wondered what it
meant. I cannot find any reference to it on line anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,

Niamh
