I believe Lords has a museum, I’m sure they’d be able to help, if you haven’t already asked them.

Dear Niamh,
There is a weather vane at Lord's Cricket ground of Old Father Time next to cricket stumps, who is carrying a scythe, like some depictions of Death - maybe that's the connection??

Hi,

I have recently had a local cricket cap donated to us. While talking to the donor she said her father always wore a cricket top with the symbol of a skeleton holding a cricket bat on it and she often wondered what it meant. I cannot find any reference to it on line anyone got any ideas?

Thanks,

Niamh
