At the University of Texas at Austin we are conducting a study about the
current market prices for pavement distresses survey by using automated
methods (high-accuracy [lane] transverse laser scanner, picture-based
device, etc.) as well as by manual methods and covering 100% of the
target area, i.e, not by sampling.
The distresses include especially:
* Cracks;
* Potholes;
* Macro-texture measurement;
* Raveling; and,
* Rutting.
We will appreciate if you can share with us the following information:
* Your location (city and state is enough);
* Distresses included in the survey;
* Type of equipment or technology used;
* (Approximated) Price per lane per kilometer (or per mile) for the
survey service.
We will keep the information confidential and it will be used for
statistical purposes only.
