Regarding health surveillance I have to disagree with the previous posting.
 
Peracetic acid carries several Hazard Statements under CLP including:
H302 – Harmful if swallowed
H312 – Harmful in contact with skin
H314 – Causes severe skin burns and eye damage
 
If it is an irritant then there is a potential for irritant contact dermatitis and under the latest ACoP for COSHH skin health surveillance for skin effects is required. Under certain circumstances even water (wet work) can require skin health surveillance.
 
Take a look at the attached document which outlines some of what the ACoP for COSHH states.
