Hi Jaquie,

When I transferred records at a previous company,, we were using the OPAS
software. Records were printed to hard copy and physically moved to the new
provider. An excel spreadsheet was then updated with the employees name,
company employee number and a list of the tests that were transferred (not
the results eg spirometry 21/7/90) before the record was deleted from the
system. Before that, when using paper files, again, an excel spreadsheet
was updated with a list of the employees and where the records were
transferred to. Looking back, we could have .pdf'd the computer records and
transferred them on a CD to save space and paper at the new provider.

Kind regards,

David Woodley
