The future of the only museum in Bridgend county borough is under threat.  The 130-year-old building that houses Porthcawl Museum and the town’s arts society will be sold-off by cash-strapped Bridgend council in the autumn.  Officials have broken the news following the failure of talks about the potential transfer of ownership of the grade II-listed Old Police Station on John Street to Porthcawl Town Council.
