** Application deadline: August 8 ** A one-year contract as a postdoc associate is available in the group of Mario Barbatti (www.barbatti.org) at the Max-Planck-Institut für Kohlenforschung in Mülheim an der Ruhr, Germany, to start in September/October, 2014. The aim of the project is to develop and implement new statistical algorithms for electronic-spectrum simulations into the Newton-X program (www.newtonx.org) and to investigate the dynamics of halogen species using nonadiabatic dynamics. The postdoc is supposed to have strong background in statistics and computational chemistry. During the project, he or she will build up expertise in atmospheric photochemistry.
