Can anyone share any experiences of the use of water immersion for higher risk women e.g. diet controlled gestational diabetes, induction of labour for various reasons (post dates, mild hypertension), breech labours, prolonged membrane rupture, Group B strep etc. I know some maternity units are extending water immersion criteria to higher risk women to reduce epidural rates.
Best wishes,
Denis
