Event: Writing research proposals and publications - CILIP ILG & LIRG
followed by LIRG’s AGM from 16:00 – 16:30

Workshop outline:
This one day event will introduce participants to research, writing a research proposal and writing the research up for publication once it is complete.  Led by experts in the field, the morning session will provide guidance in submitting proposals for research funding, including the ILG and LIRG research awards.  The afternoon session will be led by Editors of well-known library and information science journals and provide tips on writing for publication as well as a chance to put forward your questions in an  “Ask the Editors” session.  Both sessions will be interactive allowing a chance to discuss and receive comments and feedback on your ideas.
