Hello, We are currently evaluating changes to the library helpdesk and are interested in hearing from any other university libraries who are responsible for issuing AV/media equipment e.g cameras, camcorders, lighting kits etc... We would like to know the following: * Who issues the equipment in the library: library staff or media staff? * If it is library staff do all staff members issue or just specially trained staff? * Do you have a separate desk for media loans to be issued from? * Do the items get checked out on to their library account? * Are students responsible for checking the equipment before they leave and if so do you have a specific checking area for them to do this from?
