Are pleased to announce an opportunity to visit the Royal Holloway Archives and special collections 2nd September 2pm Royal Holloway and Bedford Colleges were established as pioneering women’s colleges in the 19th century. The College Archives therefore contain some of the earliest records relating to the history of higher education for women.other special colections include theatre companies and personal papers. https://www.royalholloway.ac.uk/archives/collections/specialcollections.aspx including including the Gay Sweatshop, Half Moon and RedShift Theatre Collections, the Alfred Sherman papers, Dom Anselm Hughes collection and Roy Waters theatrical ephemera. The visit will incorporate a tour of the service and an opportunity to meet staff and here about their work.
