Bedford BC - OFFICIAL-Unsecure

Hi Chris,

You still need to know the depth of the archaeology as the shallow ballast is usually anywhere between c.200 – 400mm. And you still need to take into account the location and extent of any associated cabling, inverter/transformer kiosks etc. However, many of our recent farms have run the cabling between each panel above ground leaving a single underground run to the kiosks - normally parallel to and within any new tracks.

Regards

Subject: Solar Farms

Hi Folks,

Has anyone had experience of Solar farms using photovoltaic ground array panels mounted on concrete footpads? Apparently these Solar farms are archaeology friendly!
