Hi all,

Sorry to not have done this in response to your earlier request, Melissa. I find this site, run by a teacher, Michael Tidd, very useful http://www.primarycurriculum.me.uk/. It has loads of support on curriculum changes for primary teachers and links to other teacher's blogs about coping with the changes.

Talking to your local teachers is obviously something everyone's doing, right? Although, I have found that many don't really know much about the changes until they're told quite late in the day what it means for their teaching this coming year. Curriculum planning is in the hands of the few.

Hi Mel

Just curious – did you get much response from the list about this? I’m interested too…

Thanks
Shelley

Dear Gem members,

I am interested to find out how you keep abreast of changes to the National Curriculum and what is happening in schools, hot topics etc, do you for example sign up to the Times Education Supplement or have a more cost effective approach.

I would be interested to hear your thoughts.

Best wishes

Mel
