Dear BASIL experts,
When calibrating my ASL data with asl_oxford in order to get absolute CBF values, I use the option "Output parameter variance". This allows to "output the variance images for perfusion (and other paramters) allowing to assess the uncertainty of estimation and pass these up into a higher-level analysis."

As a matter of fact, the values for the variance in grey matter are around 331, while in white matter they are around 484. I have no idea what these values do represent (i.e. which unit they have), since they don't seem to be perfusion values (control-tag) ?...

Could someone tell me, if these values are normal and what they represent?
Thank you in advance,
Stéphanie Giezendanner
