Acting globally in almost 40 countries this company is a leader in biopharmaceuticals with a proven track record in the delivery of innovative therapies to the market. Role: The senior biostatistician will perform management functions relating to the administrative and scientific activities of several clinical trials across various projects. As senior biostatistician you will be required to be closely interacting with a global team of specialists internally and externally, including responsibilities such as: - Participation as clinical trial biostatistician reviewing development protocols - Develop statistical analysis plan and guide others on the team in its implementation. - Review of data management and acts as randomization specialist. - Quality control of analysis plans, reports, datasets and provides statistical advice to clients. - Coordinate and lead a project team to successful completion of a project within given timelines and budget. - Review documentation and oversee the work of others giving input into executive summary reports. - Profound understanding of regulatory requirements in the design and analysis of trials. Requirements: The successful candidate must have extensive knowledge in clinical trials and experience in lead programming within the pharmaceutical industry. Next to solid knowledge of statistical methods, SAS programming and ICH guidelines, the candidate should also be willing to share best practices and be very communicative.
