This is Tamoghna Halder from India. I am currently pursuing final year of my masters in statistics from Indian Statistical Institute with a specialisation in Quantitative Economics. I would like to apply to european and american universities next year for my P.hd. At the same time, I would like to work with any company/department/organisation in europe wherein I will get the scope to apply and develope my knowledge of statistics and economics preferably to solve problems arising from various branches of social sciences. If i get such a job(which is rare in India) I would not apply for phd.
I have done a research internship at the dept of artificial intelligence, University of Groningen,The Netherlands. during may-june,2014 and presented a few papers in various national and international conferences including the IMS-SSAI conference held in Sydney this july.
If anyone of you know such a company/organisation in europe where this kind of jobs are offered,can you please contact me? I can share more details along with my CV if you want.
