Six Sigma Lead Statistician - UK - Analytical Science - Drug Development - Pharmaceutical - Biostatistician - Lean Six Sigma - Biostatistician

A Senior Statistician is currently required for an exciting 12 month fixed project OR permanent role in the North West, UK to provide support to an analytical science team and contribute statistical expertise. This well-known organisation are specialists in managing analytical laboratory work and have worked with the most prestigious and reputable pharmaceutical companies in the industry.

As well as operating in conjunction with the analytical science team, you will also be working independently and therefore must have clear communication skills, strategic thinking and strong attention to detail.

Your day-to-day duties will involve the following:


 *   Applying your skills to the use of various statistical tools
 *   Participating in the resolution of problems faced within the analytical science function

*         Providing statistical input to the design and analysis of advanced stability programs

*         Creating experimental designs that enable the development of ground-breaking products

*         Supplying statistical guidance, mentoring and using Lean Six Sigma within analytical science

*         Evaluating and reporting data correctly with clear understanding


The ideal applicant will have a degree in a science subject with statistics, and 3+ years working experience as a Statistician/Statistical Analyst in analytical science. Six Sigma experience is also essential.

For this role a very generous remuneration package is offered, including the flexibility to work partly from home to those who have sufficient experience.
