Position: Senior SAS Programmer - Permanent
Organisation: Top 20 Pharmaceutical company

Location: South East of England (will allow up to 3 days home working)

My client is a top 20 global pharmaceutical company seeking an experienced individual to join their team of Programmers in the South East of the UK. The role of Senior SAS Programmer requires a person who can advise and support the team to ensure all activities meet with necessary standards and guidelines.

The successful candidate will be required to attend meetings in their capacity as a Senior SAS Programmer and maintain their knowledge of the most recent industry guidelines.

The responsibilities of the Senior SAS Programmer will be:
*        Development of programming standards in keeping with industry requirements
*        Ensure the use of software is efficient upon creation
*        Making available to others software by documenting correctly
*        Maintain standards throughout all activity and keep to timelines
*        Communicate to others the necessary requirements
*        Develop analyses and presentations
*        Create datasets specifications
*        Continue to update project records

The requirements for this role are:

  *
Degree in related subject area
  *
Experience in the pharmaceutical industry
  *
Experience using databases and statistical software
  *
Ability to converse easily with other members of staff
