Position: Clinical Programmer 2-3
Organisation: Global CRO

Location: Various locations across the UK (will allow working from home)

My client is a top global CRO currently seeking experienced Clinical Programmers to join their team in offices all over the UK. With the flexibility of home working, a successful candidate will have an excellent understanding of the pharmaceutical industry and a history of leadership.

The role will consist of producing outputs, such as tables, figures and listings, as well as creating datasets, all of which conducted to CDISC standards. Communicating with the client, you will be creating outputs to prescribed standards and responsible for timelines and validation of this work. Using your previous leadership experience, you will lead a team of programmers, mentoring where necessary.

You will be responsible for:

  *   Budgetary and work load projection
  *   Communication with other departments
  *   Interaction with the clients and vendors, ensuring standards are met
  *   Ensuring consistency throughout projects, in charge of quality control and technical assistance
  *   Being the point of contact for programmers in your team
  *   Managing the process throughout project, allocating work and resources
  *   Creating specifications for programming

Requirements:

  *   Educated to degree level (or equivalent) in related field
  *   Previous experience being point of contact for other team members, as well as contact with clients
  *   Evidence of leadership
  *   Confident using Microsoft Windows and Office
  *   Experience using programming languages, such as SAS
  *   Excellent understanding of SDTM and ADaM standards
