Dear all
Obligatory
apologies for cross-posting, but I just wanted to welcome those on this
list serve to take a look over at my blog, Albion Calling, where I have
been conducting interviews with independent scholars and academics who
are devoted to researching such subjects as magic, witchcraft,
contemporary Paganism, and Western esotericism.
The latest contributor to this ongoing interview series is archaeologist Timothy Insoll,
a professor at the University of Manchester in Northern England. Professor Insoll is internationally renowned as a prominent specialist in the archaeology of religion and ritual and in particular the archaeology of Islam, although he has also conducted much research on the pre-Christian and pre-Islamic religious beliefs of sub-Saharan Africa. He discusses his research and publications and the role that archaeology has to play in casting new light on the ritual practices and religious belief systems of past societies.
If this sounds like something that might interest you, please check it out here -- http://ethandoylewhite.blogspot.co.uk/2014/08/an-interview-with-professor-timothy.html -- and if you enjoyed it, please leave a comment! All feedback is gratefully received.
All the best!
