Hi Jonathan,

If you deal with Near and Middle-eastern faunal assemblages, confusion can be made also with bones of Francolinus francolinus which has nearly the same size as A. chukar.

Best,

Lionel

Hello All,

Does anyone know of a good reference for identifying chukar partridge (Alectoris chukar) bones?  I suspect I may have several in the faunal assemblage that I am analyzing.  If you have a digital copy that would be great; if not, please give me the citation and I will try to get a copy.  Thanks so much!

Best,
Jonathan
