Dyma un disgrifiad.

"Hair that is cut with a blunt technique looks uninteresting and unnatural. To prevent this from happening, hairdressers use a variety of hair texturizing techniques to add more interest and movement to a style. In this context, texture is used to describe the way your hair has been cut. Hair that has been cut into shaggy, choppy, or feathered layers is more texturized than hair that is cut parallel."

A dyma un arall, gwahanol:

What does a texturizer do to natural African-American hair?

My hair is naturally curly, my parents are from Trinidad (an island in the Caribbean) and two of my grandparents are Indian (from India, not native-American) - so my hair isn't completely nappy. I've never had a perm--but I'm 16 and I usually braid my hair in cornrows...and I'm sick of doing that- my hair dresser is Dominican and she suggested that I get a texturizer--what exactly will a texturizer do to my hair? (i.e is it permanent, how is it different from a relaxer/perm if it is,etc. ) Thanks.
Update : If my hair is already thick..and it is-extremely thick- does a texturizer make it thicker ?
Best Answer
It is the mildest form of chemical relaxer, it will loosen the curl but not straighten in, or in or case if you decide to blow your hair straight it will stay a littler longer, go to a beauty supply house, like Sally's, or a place where the people are trained, not a family place they will be happy to help you.
