The UK Data Service is holding a webinar to showcase ReShare, their new online repository for research data.
ReShare is where researchers can easily self-deposit collections of research data, to make them available for use by other researchers.
ReShare is for data that are of interest to social sciences and humanities researchers. The primary audience is ESRC grant holders who have a contractual requirement under the ESRC research
data policy to archive and share their research data. However, other researchers can also use the repository to publish their data.
The UK Data Service sustainably manages and archives the data collections and reviews data before their release, to ensure they conform with ethical and legal requirements. The data collections
are discoverable via the Discover portal of the UK Data Service.
This webinar will show the role, features and functionality of ReShare and how it fits within the data sharing landscape; as well as demonstrate the practical process of depositing data into
the repository.
