Dear SPM users ¡¡ After a somewhat longer delay, we are happy to announce the release of version 2.0 of the SPM Anatomy Toolbox ¡¡ It can now be downloaded from our website: http://www.fz-juelich.de/inm/inm-1/DE/Forschung/_docs/SPMAnatomyToolbox/SPMAnatomyToolbox_node.html There are several new maps that have been added in this release: Frontal pole: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/23702412 Basal forebrain: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/18585468 Dosal extrastriate cortex: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22354469 Posterior fusiform gyrus: http://www.ncbi.nlm.nih.gov/pubmed/22488096 In addition to smaller fixes and improvements, there are several important changes from the previous versions: - All histological reconstructions and spatial normalizations have been updated with improved algorithms - We now account for partial volume effects in the 1mm voxels, making the maps continuous rather than stepwise in range Thus please note the following compatibility issues: - Given the new format of the probabilistic maps, these are not comparable with earlier version of the toolbox and vice versa - This version has not been tested with SPM99/2 any more and most likely will not run on these. ¡¡ Please don't hesitate to report bugs and errors or contact me for other questions related to this software. ¡¡ Best regards Simon =================================== Univ.-Prof. Dr. med.
