Internet Librarian International 2014 - MmITS Bursary Applications Now Open
Dear Colleague,
We are pleased to announce that MmITS are now accepting applications for a bursary to attend Internet Librarian International 2014, which will be taking place at the Olympia Conference Centre, London between the 20th and 22nd of October 2014.

The first day features workshops to sharpen your search skills on the web, give you an understanding altmetrics, or help you to look at your library as an entrepreneur. The conference then kicks off on day 2 with themes of ‘New Blueprints for Libraries’, ‘Technology, Innovation and Impact’ and ‘Content Innovation’. Never more relevant, day 2 will also include a keynote speech from Michael Peter Edison of the Smithsonian Institute, discussing ‘The Dark Matter of the Internet’.
The closing day gets down to the nitty gritty, featuring themes of ‘Marketing and Impact’, ‘Search and Discovery’ and ‘Closer to Communities and Customers’ with a keynote speech from Rachel Neaman of Go ON UK on the topic of ‘Digital Inclusion – The Big Mission’.
Whatever your technological interest, this event will offer practical skills, food for thought, networking opportunities and an idea of things to come. To be in with the chance of receiving the MmITS bursary to attend, please complete the application at this link.

Please also note that the bursary is for session entry fees only. All travel, subsistence and accommodation fees will be the responsibility of successful applicants. Fees will be paid by invoice to the conference / training provider ONLY and will not be paid to successful applicants.
