17th EMScom Excellence-in-communications Lecture: "Stakeholders: Assets or Liabilities in a Crisis?"
Join us for the 17th EMScom Excellence-in-communications Lecture, which will take place on October 9, 2014 at Credit Suisse Forum St. Peter in Zurich! Professor Timothy Coombs will engage the audience discussing about crisis management and the role of stakeholders
as assets or liabilities during a crisis. In these situations, the preference is for stakeholders to be assets not liabilities to the organization's crisis management effort, but management must cultivate relationships before a crisis occurs. Indifference
to stakeholders promotes their becoming crisis liabilities. Professor Timothy Coombs will explain how stakeholders can benefit or hurt an organization and he will explore what pre-crisis actions are likely to produce stakeholders as crisis asset or liability.
