We use a lot of contractors to do certain elements of our work on behalf of our company for the client. We have highlighted that some of these contractors are going into 'risk' areas that our employees receive surveillance for.  On investigation the contractors we use do not have surveillance and therefore we are unsure whether we are doing them 'harm' by allowing them access. We do ask them to fill out a visitor questionnaire but it is just a screening tool and is meant for short term (x1 visit) access, not on a regular basis or when they are required at site on a more permanent basis. Positive responses are not allowed access to the area as per the clients policies etc.

We are writing to all of the companies who have more regular access and those who for some we have their employees working for us for a given period of time. We are explaining the need for surveillance and giving them the opportunity to sort this for themselves and then offer us the assurance and/or clearance that we and the client require.  If they are unable to sort, my company would like to offer them my services, hence the request for costs.

Specifically we are looking at offering Skin and Laboratory Animal Allergen questionnaires with Spiro and skin assessments. What do you charge for these assessments.

I did a quick search on=line and found:

Health screening + LFT= £73.50 (it didn’t say what was included with 'screen'
Skin Assessment + Ques= £31
Spiro in its own= £26
