Good morning. I am planning for sabbatical and would like to investigate the issue of midwifery leadership especially in the hospital setting as i think this is a critical issue for us. Some time ago I saw a presentation from someone in the UK about a leadership program for midwives employed in the NHS though I can't remember the details or who was presenting. It was quite innovative I seem to remember and I think the NHS or trust partnered with a university and participants had to develop and initiate a project as part of the program. If anyone has any information about programs in the UK or elsewhere, i would very much appreciate it if you could provide me with some information or contacts.
regards
Deborah

Dear Jane,
I hope doing well,Iran going to develop a family physician services but the make unusual changes for midwifery services and we think women could not have good access to reproductive health/midwifery services.I think NHS would be a very excellent reference s for us .
Would you please send me some information about midwifery practice in NHS (as a Family Physician team member). Are midwives work autonomous and do prescription individually or their work depend on to the GP?How they work as a maternity services providers?
Also let me know about their salary and differences value with GPs,who pay to them head of team(Doctor ) or directly by NHS.
Thank in Advance
Nahid
