Last call for abstracts for the UK Society for Behavioural Medicine (UKSBM) 10th Annual Scientific Meeting: ‘Patients, Populations and Policy-makers: behavioural medicine in practice’ Conference, Wednesday 3rd December 2014 and Thursday 4th December 2014 at East Midlands Conference Centre, Nottingham.


The Society invites behavioural and public health researchers, clinical practitioners, epidemiologists, health and clinical psychologists, medical sociologists, health economists, nurses, pharmacists, allied health professionals and all other colleagues interested in the field of behavioural medicine to participate in this two day event. Each year we present 250 Scientific Papers and this is the last call for yours to be included.

 

We hope that you are all enjoying the good weather but wanted to remind you that the submission deadline is fast approaching.  

 

1 WEEK TO DEADLINE FOR ABSTRACTS:

Monday 4th August 2014 midday

 

Abstracts can now be submitted for the final week here: 

 

10th UKSBM Annual Scientific Meeting and registration is now open.

 

Abstracts are being accepted for oral and poster presentations, structured discussions, symposia and workshops. For more details on the conference and to submit an abstract, please visit the conference website available via the UKSBM home page (uksbm.org.uk).

Early Career Awards and Early Career registration bursaries are available this year, further information and eligibility criteria can be found on the
conference website.

Professor John Britton

Professor of Epidemiology at The University of Nottingham and an Honorary Consultant in Respiratory Medicine at Nottingham University Hospitals NHS Trust.

Karina W. Davidson, PhD,

Professor in Medicine and Psychiatry and the Director of the Center for Behavioral Cardiovascular Health at Columbia University Medical Center, USA.

Professor Rona Moss-Morris

Professor of Psychology as Applied to Medicine and Head of the Health Psychology Section at the Institute of Psychiatry, King's College London.
