Last week, Ed Miliband launched Labour's summer campaign to highlight the choice at the next election between Labour's vision for the future and the threat of a Tory second term.
His speech marked the beginning of a summer offensive featuring more than a dozen major speeches by members of the Shadow Cabinet highlighting in each area of policy the choice facing the country in 2015.
