We use EBS and record all C&G registrations and achievements on it, as we do with all other awarding bodies..  We also generate registrations and results files from EBS for upload via the Walled Garden.  We haven’t done much in the way of downloading their basedata as we tend to set it up complexes/units manually.  Also, we haven’t tried downloading the results files from the Walled Garden, although it’s something we plan to pursue in September.

I have been asked to enquire if anyone out there uses EBS for their City & Guilds qualifications making entries and recording achievement.

 

It was something we looked at many years ago when we were users of Unit-E but downloading the basedata took so long that we never went along this route.  All our City & Guilds entries and results are made via the Walled Garden so we never record anything on EBS.  If someone out there does use EBS fully for City and Guilds I would be most grateful if you could get in touch with me so that I could discuss this with you and to find out what your experience is with this process.
