For Scots buprenorphine more recovery-friendly than methadone?

Heroin-free methadone patients in Scotland sustained their abstinence as well as those on buprenorphine, yet buprenorphine was far better at helping those continuing to use heroin cut back. The results seem to bolster buprenorphine’s recovery credentials, but the study’s constraints make practice implications unclear.
