Professor of Public Health & Evidence in Communicable Disease Epidemiology University of Warwick - Warwick Medical School Salary: £75,249 to £101,451 per annum Hours: Full Time Contract: Permanent Advert Placed on: 21st July 2014 Closes: 1st September 2014 Job Ref: 75092-074 The University of Warwick (UoW) is looking to appoint a senior academic trained in public health, applied epidemiology and communicable disease control. You will provide strategic leadership to the development, establishment and running of Evidence in Communicable Disease Epidemiology and Control (ECDEC) team, closely affiliated to the Warwick Evidence team. The ECDEC team is co-funded by the University and Public Health England (PHE) and supported by additional training posts from Health Education England. You will undertake research to improve the evidence base in communicable disease control and together with the ECEDC team will provide a service to Public Health England, particularly in relation to defining the evidence base for specific communicable disease control problems.
