Exciting announcement – FLUX 2015 is now open for bookings.
FLUX 2015 will be on
Monday 23rd and Tuesday 24th March 2015, at Lancaster University in the Management School. This venue is one of the UK’s leading management schools with excellent facilities so it’s a fitting environment for your students to compete.
There will be a number of
top recruiters involved including Santander and IBM. This is a wonderful opportunity for your students to meet with graduate employers informally, and impress them with their work which will put them in good stead for the job application process.

FLUX 2015 Bookings
As in previous years, your groups of
6 students will be given a task to work on during the two days, being judged by a panel of
industry experts on their pitch on the second day. To help them, they will be working with
Xing, the planning tool from The Working Knowledge Group. The task is designed to appeal to
every student, to come up with a creative solution to a real-life problem. With many angles from business to politics, from legal to environmental there is sure to be an aspect for everyone.
Your six students can be any current student at your university – under/post graduate, from any academic background. The best teams tend to have a diverse range of academic subjects, while
penultimate and final years are more able to take advantage of the fantastic opportunities of
networking with employers to help secure graduate level employment.
There will be a
£500 prize for the winning team – which will be sponsored by a leading graduate recruiter.
Winning the title of FLUX Champions 2015 would look fantastic on any CV.
Places are limited on a
first come, first served basis, so book a place for your university now to secure yours. When you sign up you do not need to detail your student participants yet – they can be confirmed nearer the time. A
staff representative from your university can also attend free of charge with your student team and activities will be arranged including plenty of time for networking. Additional staff places can be purchased if you wish on
