Heritage Hub Member, Accentuate History of Place

 

Accentuate in partnership with Screen South are developing a new heritage initiative supported by the Heritage Lottery Fund. They are seeking to recruit 3 individuals for the development phase of a major new disability heritage programme, entitled Accentuate History of Place.

 

This project will create a comprehensive picture of National Disability Heritage, in relation to the built environment.  The Heritage Hub Members must define themselves as being Deaf or disabled and have the capacity to inspire, provoke and support the planning stage of the programme. They would particularly like to hear from deaf and disabled people who have extensive experience in one or more of the following areas:

 

• Heritage and Disability Heritage

• Architecture and the Built Environment • Academics in the field of Disability History • Engaging deaf and disabled people with heritage
