Where Does Talent Come From? - A one-day conference on 23 July 2014 at the Hyatt Regency in Birmingham UK exploring the origins of talent and strategies for nurturing its development. Speakers include Germaine Greer and BBC Radio 4's Tim Harford along with other experts from psychology, the arts and criminal justice. Discount rates maybe available upon request. John brings a unique perspective on the use of drama and theatre with those in prison. This workshop will explore his recent work in which he has been drawing extensively on recent developments in neuroscience to develop a theory that pairs the experience of theatre with the development of new neural pathways. John is the originator of the internationally renowned Geese Theatre Company and rarely runs workshops in the UK, so this will be a very special event. Cost is £30 for the day.
