An excellent opportunity has arisen for a Principal Statistician to join a global pharmaceutical company in Greater London  This is a contract position for a period of 8 months. This position offers a competitive hourly rate, working 40 hours per week.

ROLE PROFILE

-Act as an internal expert for some methodologies.
-Input to the strategic planning of a project.
-Coordinate programming across several studies.
-Interact directly and make presentations with regulatory agencies.
-Identify recurring problems and initiate improvements.
-Plans and works flexibly over multiple projects, which may involve a substantial team.
-May be lead contract for external organizations for projects.
-Supports communication, commercial and reimbursement activities.
-Defines content of study document without supervision.
-May define content of submission documentation.
-Effectively communicates within major projects.
-Raises, discusses and resolves concerns/issues with relevant multi-disciplinary teams.
-Uses statistical knowledge to influence strategy and direction.

EXPERIENCE & REQUIREMENTS

-Bachelors degree/Masters degree/PHD in statistics.
-Experience with statistical software. i.e. SAS, R,
-Familiar with therapeutic/Scientific areas (ideally respiratory).
-Ideally trained in CDISC.
