Clinical SAS Programmer - UK Pharmaceutical Company – Office Based

6 Months Rolling CONTRACT

 

A Clinical SAS programmers is required to support the Biostatistics team by providing timely production and validation of high quality statistical programming deliverables for Clinical Studies Reports, integrations, submission activities, exploratory analyses and regulatory requests. 

Responsibilities 

• Produce and validate high quality statistical programming deliverables (SDTMs, ADaMs, Tables, Listings and Graphics) 
• Support objectives, policies and operational targets that have a direct impact on the work unit or operational outcome 
• Individual contributor with specialised knowledge 
• Typically no cost centre budget management responsibility 

Qualifications and Experience 

• Working experience with SDTM and ADaM, preferably in the area of Oncology studies including submission supports and related training 
• Experience using SAS-Base, MACRO, SQL, STAT, GRAPH, MS Office. 
• Proven experience with Windows operating systems. 
• Understanding of the software development life cycle. 
• Understanding of FDA guidelines. 
• Good organisation, time management and attention to detail skills needed to work in a stressful environment under tight deadlines while maintaining focus on details and quality. 
• Applies good judgment and demonstrates initiative to resolve issues. 
• Strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills needed to work effectively in a team environment, managing that team as required.
