Applied Probability Trust (The University of Sheffield): Journals Production Editor
The Applied Probability Trust is looking for a full-time Journals Production Editor to be responsible for coordinating all stages of the publication process of articles accepted to the Trust's two quarterly published research journals, Journal of Applied Probability and Advances in Applied Probability. This
job provides an excellent opportunity to develop skills and experience in a competitive area of scholarly publishing.
Applicants should have or expect to achieve a first-class honours
degree in a numerate-based scientific subject or have equivalent
experience, knowledge of the editorial and technical aspects of journal
publishing and be able to edit mathematically technical material for
clarity, concision and style. Experience using mark-up languages and Web
technology for journals publishing and using LaTeX and graphic packages
is desirable.
