Keep rolling that boulder up that hill.....in fact, if we all roll it together, it's less likely to roll down again.

That seems to clear it up, thanks Graham.
I have argued consistently that the greatest barriers to disabled people are ...other people...

Physical barriers are somehow more acceptable or surmountable because they come one at a time.  But attitude is like waves: a constant, battering, sisyphean struggle.

Hi
I've only just got round to following this thread, and the Diesability Rights films aren't bad are they. (haven't looked at the Scope ones yet, wondered does anyone know if there are versions with audio description on them?. Interestingly enough first time I tried to access them I only got the soundtrack (for some reason the picture didn't appear) this was really interesting as they've used sound in a enhanced way that does convey the confusion that external noise can create..
thanks for reminding us about them.

Scope has also produced some videos as a part of their End the Awkward campaign, which is primarily aimed at 18 -35 year old metros, who research findings depressingly indicate have the most hardened attitudes towards disabled people.    http://www.scope.org.uk/awkward
