Dear Scott,

The 'extract' button allows you to extract time series (first eigenvariate) from a volume of interest specified by some radius and MNI coordinates it the 'mm or ms' window when you press the MIP button. It is more convenient to use the batch tool for source extraction where you can specify multiple VOI's.

Best,

Vladimir

Hello SPMers,

What exactly does the ‘extract’ button do in the 3D Source Reconstruction portion of the M/EEG portion of SPM?

I need to extract voxel information from some MEG files (since it is already generated), but I can’t seem to find it in the (D) data structure. I assumed this button would give me information about the voxels (power, coordinates, etc). If someone could give me some insight into this issue, help would be very much appreciated!

Thanks,

Scott
