The Knowledge Management Team is seeking to appoint a creative solutions focused professional to provide a range of knowledge and information services to support the work of Healthcare Improvement Scotland.  The post holder will particularly focus on providing support to a range of national improvement initiatives through application of knowledge into action principles.

 

Ideally you will have previous experience of delivering customer focused knowledge and information services within the NHS, a good understanding of approaches to systematic searching and evidence presentation and a strong commitment to CPD.  The ability to work in a project based environment, to self direct and independently manage your workload is essential.

 

This role requires a postgraduate qualification in CILIP accredited information and/or library studies, preferably supported by a degree in the life, social or medical-related sciences. You will also have competent IT skills (using MS Office and reference management software), together with excellent communication and interpersonal skills for effective team working.
