We would like to inform you that VERBI Software recently published a
significant update for MAXQDA for Mac that added the last missing
puzzle piece: MAXDictio. MAXDictio is a module that is embedded in
MAXQDAplus, allowing users to conduct quantitative text analysis
procedures alongside with their qualitative analysis.
** MAXQDA for Mac/Windows - Equal power and functionality **
From now on, both the Mac and the Windows version of MAXQDA offer
equal functionality for qualitative and mixed methods research.

** NEW in Update 11.1.0: MAXDicto for Mac **
MAXDictio analyzes word frequencies for marked passages, text
documents or text groups. Users can export and import dictionaries
from/into MS Office programs, build their own word-based
dictionaries, analyze texts by specific criteria and filter the
results by numeric data. The tool illustrates the prevalent
vocabulary and topics in the data as well as similarities or
contrasts between different cases or units. Outcomes of the
frequency analysis can be exported to MS Office programs and
statistical software packages like SPSS.
