***The Developmental Psychology Section is offering a limited number of registration bursaries to student members of the section to attend the Section’s Annual Conference in Amsterdam, Netherlands, from 3 to 5 September, 2014.***

This year at Dev 2014 in Amsterdam, there are numerous opportunities for postgraduate students including 'Meet the Experts' lunches as well as opportunities to meet other students as postgraduate specific events. This is all in addition to the excellent content of the conference itself.

Bursary applications should be made in the form of a 150-word supporting statement including your name, institution, year of study, and email address, attached to your email as a word document, to the Section Honorary Secretary ([log in to unmask]).

***The deadline for applications is the 25th June 2014***.

The statement should include a brief explanation of why a bursary is needed, why the applicant should be awarded a bursary, and how she or he will benefit from attending the conference.

Late applications will not be accepted and only the first 150 words of any statements that exceed the word limits will be considered. Applications will be assessed by a sub-committee of the BPS Developmental Psychology Section Committee and conference committee. Applications that make a strong case for need and the benefits of attendance will be funded, subject to the funds available.

More information can be found at : http://www.bps.org.uk/events/conferences/developmental-section-annual-conference-2014/bursaries

This is an excellent opportunity being offered by the Developmental Section so make sure you submit your bursary application soon!

Best wishes
