Dear Susie, Please could you send a copy of this email round the LDAN network- I'm hoping that someone will be able to come up with a copy of the paper mentioned Thanks Jean Dear LDAN My colleague Juliet Goldbart and I are conducting a systematic review concerned with interventions aimed at staff/parents/other communication partners which aim to improve communication or interaction with children or adults with profound intellectual impairment. Our search has identified a 1979 paper from Mental Retardation which looks relevant to the review Hobson, P.A., Duncan, P.Sign learning and profoundly retarded people (1979) Mental Retardation, 17 (1), pp. 33-37 We are keen to include this paper in the full text stage of the review, but we cannot find a copy. Our universities (MMU and Bangor) have a few volumes of Mental Retardation from the 1970s but not the 1979 volume, and we do not seem to be able to source it online.
