Hi,

Version 4.1.8 is quite old now so I would not recommend installing that.
Instead you should install the latest version, and use the instructions on the NeuroDebian site.

When you have installed this, make sure you carefully follow the instructions related to setting up the environment variables, such as FSLDIR and PATH, since it sounds like this is not currently correctly set up on your machine.

All the best,
Mark

Dear FSL experts,

I've installed FSL 4.1.8 into ubuntu 12.04 (precise) as suggested in your page and following the instructions in the neurodebian repository, and at the begginning it worked fine, but I will use it with fressurfer which requires tcsh, so I'd installed it on the OS, now freesurfer works fine when I open the shell, but fsl does not, it says that fslwhish does not exist, and effectively does not exist on /usr/local/fsl/4.1...

Do you have any ideas on how to make FSL work on the tcsh shell of ubuntu 12.04?

Any suggestion will be appreciated.

Many thanks in advanced,
Gabriel
