The post of Lecturer in Criminology and Criminal Justice Studies (A3788) has now been published on Plymouth University's website. This post will close at midnight on Thursday 26 June.

Plymouth Law School is looking to appoint a dedicated and enthusiastic academic who can make an effective contribution to our teaching, research and scholarship in Criminology and Criminal Justice. The Criminology discipline group prides itself on its collaborative approach to teaching, and its commitment to critical, impactful research that alongside our excellent teaching contributes to our growing regional, national and international reputation. You will be required to contribute to campus-based and distance-learning teaching at undergraduate and postgraduate levels, and while we are open to any relevant areas of expertise we are particularly interested in someone who may be interested in developing areas such as criminal investigations or comparative criminology, alongside core areas such as research methods.

You should have, or be demonstrably near to completing, a PhD, and should be able to demonstrate a track record of, or substantial potential for, teaching and research excellence.

You will be appointed either at Grade 7 or 8, depending upon the qualifications and experience.

For an informal discussion please contact Dr Dan Gilling, Acting Head of Plymouth Law School, [log in to unmask]<mailto:[log in to unmask]> , 01752 585780
