Hi Adel and all,

Your email gave me palpitations this morning because we are just beginning to test the April 2014 release with a view to upgrading next month.

Anyway, I installed the building block (v2.5.28). Like your experience, it didn’t seem to work. However, based on Melanie’s email, once I went into the Tools admin area I was able to make all the components available and it appears to be working ok now.

Hopefully that also resolves your issue, but am happy to exchange screen shots etc if that would help.

Best regards,

Sharon

Hello

I did try it out on April 2014 and it worked fine. We have a test account for Turnitin which I linked our test VLE up to.

Couldn’t find any problem. The only issue was I had to switch Turnitin off under Tools and back on again to make it appear as an option in VLE courses.

Turnitin told me they are testing against April 2014 version now.

Best wishes

Melanie

Hi everyone,

This message is for those of you planning to or considering an upgrade to the April 2014 release of Bb Learn 9.1 and also use the Turnitin Basic building block (v2.5.28) for your integration.

My investigations so far (and they didn’t last long!) have highlighted the fact that it doesn’t work in the slightest. Has anyone else found the same thing? Have you found a solution?

I’m in touch with Turnitin too, but wondered if anyone else is having the same issue?

Thanks,

Adel
